Ledger Troubleshooting Guide
Most Ledger issues can be resolved with a few simple steps. This guide covers the most common problems and their solutions.
Connection Problems
- Try a different USB cable (use the one included with your Ledger)
- Connect directly to your computer, not through a USB hub
- Try a different USB port
- Close and reopen Ledger Live
- Restart your computer
- For Bluetooth: unpair and re-pair the device
Ledger Live Not Syncing
If accounts are not syncing, clear the cache: Settings > Help > Clear Cache. This forces a fresh sync with the blockchain.
Firmware Update Stuck
If your firmware update gets stuck, do not disconnect. Wait at least 10 minutes. If still stuck, close Ledger Live, reconnect in bootloader mode (hold left button while connecting), and retry.
Wrong Balance Displayed
Ensure all relevant apps are installed and accounts synced. Clear the Ledger Live cache and wait for a complete re-sync. Check you are on the correct network.
